The “Respect Her Game” League which enables some of the cities top high School teams and their players to match up against each other during the off season.
And this summer’s match between Audenried and Imhotep, which was just as intense as their Public League Championship match up game they played earlier this year.
Even with a key player from each team not playing on this day it was a back and forth changing of leads through out the game, until missed fouls by Imhotep late in the forth quarter allowed #12-Heaven Reese to knock down a 3 pointer with time running out to give Audenried a 39-40 win.
Audenried’s 6’0″ Freshman #11-Nasiaah Russell led her team in scoring with 15 points in a variety of mid rage shot, and getting to the rim. Imhotep’s #11-Geren Hawthorne led all scores with 20 points.
